Introduction by RAP

So here we launch into the wide world of blogging. I've been encouraged by blogs maintained by other friends, and seeing the value in documenting life events and keeping in touch with friends and family members.

We've decided to have both CMS and I able to publish entries, and the scope will be whatever the heck we want. For me, I'll likely talk about the following: being pregnant, my dog, life with CMS, politics, celebrity gossip, and whatever else strikes my fancy. I imagine that CMS will talk about impending fatherhood, politics, baseball, music, current events, among a variety of topics.

We plan to share this URL with family and friends, but request that you don't use our names. We'd like to preserve our broader privacy, while maintaining contact with our loved ones.
